The shit with Bumble-Bee is really getting both tiring and super annoying. The Riot that happens at the end of Episode 5 gets resolved off screen. You know if anybody still remembers them or cares. Oh and these guys from Volume 3 are back. The scene with Weiss and Winter also feels under cooked. Then again Robyn is pretty much irrelevant for most of this Volume. While it's cool that we get to hear Cristina Vee's lovely voice I really don't think that her voice fits Robyn Hill in my opinion.Īnd Also Robyn's introduction really gets nothing done aside from the fact that she's suspicious about what Ironwood is up to. The Training Montage doesn't amount to anything at all. The only thing I liked from this episode was the final scene between Jacques and Watts and that's it. The Conversation Between Ruby and Qrow gets nothing done but tells us more vague shit about Summer Rose and how The heroes are coming off as hypocrites. They missed out on an opportunity for all the characters to reflect on how they're celebrating in the place that started the fall of Beacon.

The Heroes are given their Huntsman and Huntress license for all that's worth. The humor in this episode is absolute fucking cringe, especially coming from both Nora and Penny.
The scene with Jacques and Ironwood gets nothing done and doesn't already tell us things we already know. The Ace Ops are literally what Team CFVY or any other worthless background characters from previous Volumes should have been. We do get an awesome fight scene featuring they Ace Ops which is really cool with some really nice camera angles. They make a shitty excuse as to why the main characters are never cold while wearing inappropriate weather attire. unfortunately the only ones that do get upgrades are Yang, Jaune and Ren. Team RWBY get their Awful new outfits and haircuts, they also gets some new "upgrades" to their weapons. Most of the conflict in the future episodes is the result of Team RWBY's sociopathic and self-righteous actions, in fact most of this shit could have been avoided if Ruby and Co just told the truth, talk things out and come up with an alternative to Ironwood's plan. The only thing I don't like about this episode is Ruby lying to Ironwood's face as withholding information about Salem's immortality. Just mostly exposition in this episode, at least it's good exposition and not just repeating information on things we already know like in previous Volumes. I don't have a problem with Penny coming back seeing as how she is a Robot, and Robot's can be rebuilt, it's how they brought her back is what I hate overall. I also hate how they brought Penny back in this show. Maria makes a shitty excuse as to why she stayed behind on the train and accompanied Team RWBY back in Volume 6.Īnd we get a pretty OK Grimm fight with some good choreography, even though the Grimm aren't a threat in this show. We're introduced to Pietro Penny's Father for all that's worth. Racism towards Fanus is still a thing for all that's worth. The Team trys to stay inconspicuous througout the the town but do a pretty shitty job.
